Engagement Manager

The Role

As an Engagement Manager, you will lead and deliver complex supply chain consulting engagements, owning client relationships, team performance, and commercial outcomes. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to diagnose business challenges, develop pragmatic recommendations, and support implementation across supply chain strategy, operating models, and performance improvement initiatives. 

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while leading multidisciplinary consulting teams to deliver highquality, insightdriven outcomes aligned with client objectives. Senior Engagement Managers are expected to independently manage large workstreams or smaller engagements endtoend, while contributing to firm growth and capability development. 

Key Responsibilities

Client & Engagement Leadership 

  • Lead endtoend delivery of supply chain consulting engagements, accountable for scope, quality, timelines, and commercial performance 
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and managing expectations 
  • Structure complex business problems, develop clear hypotheses, and guide teams toward actionable recommendations 
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and credibly to client leadership 

 

Team Leadership & Delivery 

  • Lead, coach, and develop consulting team members across multiple workstreams 
  • Provide daytoday direction, quality assurance, and feedback to ensure high standards of delivery 
  • Foster a collaborative and highperformance team culture 

 

Solution Development 

  • Lead development of supply chain strategies, operating models, and performance improvement initiatives 
  • Apply industry best practices and Weave methodologies to deliver practical, implementable solutions 
  • Support clients through change and capability building where required 

 

Commercial & Firm Contribution 

  • Manage engagement economics, including resourcing, utilization, and profitability 
  • Support business development through proposal development, client discussions, and solution shaping 
  • Contribute to internal capability building, knowledge sharing, and mentoring within the consulting team 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Proven experience leading management consulting engagements, ideally within supply chain or operationsfocused roles 
  • Strong grounding in supply chain strategy, operating models, and performance improvement 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client situations and influence senior stakeholders 
  • Strong leadership experience in managing and developing consulting teams 
  • Excellent problemsolving, structuring, and analytical skills 
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are an advantage 
  • Prior experience in a consulting environment is strongly preferred
